The background to this contradictory information on its age is that our company had a predecessor founded in the 1830s, its Business Authorization was granted to József Hutter by the Governing Council of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy here. József Hutter was, however, just one of the predecessors, really famous manufacturing companies of the Nineteenth and Twentieth century, like Flóra, Albus, Odol, Beader, Molnár and Moser, Elida or Venus, also make part of that historic group of businesses.
Caola-Alfa Rt. has only been on the market for one and a half year under this name, created from Caola Cosmetics and Household Chemicals Co. by a name change.
In the course of time the Company underwent significant re-engineering projects, however, it has always remained an important market player with its new and traditional products. Let me just mention men's cosmetics, oral hygiene or hair styling. Beyond proprietory brands outsource manufacturing, supporting multinationals in meeting regional market needs, has become an important factor in our activity.
